PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
o Work as contact for potential guests and contributors;
o Research and make contact with potential guests;
o Collaborate with team in the development of podcast episodes;
o Oversee and contribute, if interested, to the drafting of reports, briefings, position papers, correspondence and action materials;
o Maintain a comprehensive overview of trends and developments on women’s human rights;
o Work with podcast team to ensure episode success;
o Support the producer to prepare information for podcast, media interviews etc;
o Assist with the collection of information for IWI’s website as it relates to the podcast;
o Basic proofreading of documents and website information of errors and incorrect/outdated information;
o Work collaboratively and actively with team to ensure a spirit of collegiality, civility, and unity;
o Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
o Must be a native Spanish speaker or fluent in Spanish;
o Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
o Flexibility, initiative, and good problem-solving abilities;
o Multicultural experience and sensitivity to cross-cultural differences;
o Desire to work in a women’s human rights environment;
o Strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently;
o Must be able to speak and write about their findings clearly, as well as understand assignments and instructions;
o Attention to detail a must;
o Strong research background;
o Comfortable contacting potential guests and sources;
o Podcast experience a plus.
